KITSERA Nataliya

(13.03.1977, Lviv)

             Philologist, specialist in English language and literature, a lecturer of Department of Foreign Languages for Humanities of L’viv NationalIvanFrankoUniversity.

            1999 – graduated from Foreign Languages Department of LvivNationalIvanFrankoUniversity. 1997 – 1998 – a teacher of English of Lviv secondary school ¹80, 1998 – 2000 – a teacher of English of Lviv secondary school ¹7. Since 2000 - an assistant of Department of Foreign Languages for Humanities of L’viv NationalIvanFrankoUniversity. The author of scientific and methodic works, in particular – the co-author of two manuals, program for the students of Faculty of Philosophy. Since 2000 has been participating in scientific research of the Department – “Linguostylistic investigation of texts of different functional styles and the problems of linguistics” and “Methods of teaching foreign languages and problems of linguodidactics” (headed by Prof. Kus’ko K. Ya.), which investigate modern conceptions of teaching foreign languages, ways of making language teaching more effective, creation of teaching programs and curriculums. Participated in organization of Olympiad in English for the students of humanitarian faculties of the University.

            A participant of organization “TESOL – Ukraine” and international program “Lviv – Oregon Partnership”. Participated in the project of European program TEMPUS – TACIS dedicated to development of means of testing students of humanitarian faculties with the help of computerized programs. A participant of regional seminar in linguostylistics and discourse studies and of scientific and practical conferences.

            Scientific interests: modern methods of teaching foreign languages, academic writing, discourse studies, linguostylistics. Is doing the research “Linguopragmatic characteristics of philosophic discourse (on the material of English publications in philosophy of the second half of XX century)” (scientific advisor – associate professor Markelova S.P.
